<Seoul City Employment-Focused Institution Seoul Multicultural Family Support Center>

Regular operation of employment consultation desk, including recruitment and job search registration, management, and referral.

 

 

 The Seoul Multicultural Family Support Center, an employment-focused institution in Seoul, provides customized recruitment and job search services to help marriage immigrants achieve socioeconomic independence.

 

We provide a customized job search service that connects skilled to companies that are having difficulty recruiting professional personnel, and services such as job referral, resume writing, and accompanying for interviews are provided to marriage immigrants who are willing to find a job but are having difficulties due to high entry barriers to employment. We ask for your interest and participation.

 

 

 

 

 

[Job hiring registration guide and steps]

 

1. Job Inquiry: Submit business registration and job application (download the attached file)

2. Post in Seoul multicultural family website ‘Hanultari’ and ‘My Seoul’ app

3. Referral: Send resume + self-introduction to the person in charge via email (document, job interview)

4. Submit employment confirmation after hiring

 

[Reminders when registering job openings]

 

- The job registration period is up to 6 months, and if you wish to extend or re-register, send the job application again

- When hiring a job seeker, fill out an employment confirmation form and send it via email or fax within 2 weeks.

- Upon receipt of job seeker's documents, notify the center with its result within 7 days

- Pursuant to Article 6 (Equal Treatment) of the Labor Standards Act, it is stipulated that “employers shall not discriminate against workers on the basis of their gender, nor shall they discriminate on labor standards on the basis of their nationality, religion, or social status.” 

Under the current Labor Standards Act and Minimum Wage Act, differential application of the minimum wage to foreigners is prohibited.

- Article 76-2 (Prohibition of workplace harassment) of the Labor Standards Act stipulates that 'an employer or worker shall not engage in any act of causing physical or mental pain to other workers or deteriorating the working environment (hereinafter referred to as 'workplace harassment') beyond the appropriate scope of work by using the superiority of his/her status or relationship at work.'

Let's strive to create an inclusive workplace environment that empowers marriage immigrants to work freely and fosters a more horizontally oriented workplace culture.

[Job search registration guide and steps]​​

 

1. Sign-up as member

- Target : Marriage Immigrants

- Required documents : Membership application form, proof documents as marriage immigrant

* For F5 or F6 visa holder : Family Relations Certificate, Foreign Registration Card (copy)

* For naturalized Korean : Household registry, basic certificate(detailed), resident registration card (copy)

* For divorced : Marriage relation certificate

- How to sign-up : After making a reservation through phone call, visit the center and/or submit by email or fax.

 

2. Employment consultation

- After making a reservation in advance, visit the Seoul Multicultural Family Support Center at the reserved time.

- 1 on 1 job search consultation with the person in charge

Check the required documents ➜ Employment consultation (visit reservation is required) ➜ Check employment information / Check Hanultari website and request job application ➜ Job referral (send resume to relevant company and conduct interview) ➜ Follow-up management for successful employment referrals and performance
